As an architect with 10+ years of experience delivering client-focused service, my goal is to produce both technical excellence as well as transformative design solutions for a wide range of projects. Practice areas include hospitality, retail, commercial office buildings, multifamily residential, and masterplanning. My skills include conceptual visioning, delivering quality project documentation, and managing construction administration. I have a passion for cultivating client relationships through a multidisciplinary approach to design. I also champion diversity and inclusion in colleague mentorship, and sustainability in practice that achieves resilience through innovation.
Multidisciplinary Approach
I pursue solutions as a trusted partner with clients, consultants, and collaborators. I believe a multidisciplinary team can offer a more holistic vision for design practice. As a leader and designer working in architecture, interior design, consulting / strategy, and digital media, I have a lot to contribute to such a team.
Diversity and Inclusivity
As 2020 Gensler Research Grant recipient, my team and I are partnering with public and private stakeholders to re-imagine a more just and inclusive Stone Mountain park. I also lead university outreach efforts with Gensler’s internship program, and through crit. exchange with Georgia Tech, Kennesaw State, and SCAD. I also served through Community Outreach program Club Ideate – a partnership with Gensler Atlanta and Boys and Girls Club of America to expose design career paths to underserved kids. I’m committed to creating a just and equitable future.
Resilience
I’m proud to have served as chair of AIA Atlanta’s Committee on the Environment (COTE) 2018, and as active Education and Outreach Subcommittee chair. I also served as Design Resilience Leader at Gensler Atlanta. Design is being redefined by sustainability – helping our clients and communities become more resourceful, resilient, and regenerative. I see design as strategy in action as I help our clients envision a better future.
